Duties and responsibilities:
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Supporting the senior accountants in performing audits, including conducting audit tests and verifying financial records.
• Assisting in the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Assisting in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to help clients make informed business decisions.
• Assisting in the maintenance and organization of client records and financial documents.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and projects.
• Staying up-to-date with accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Participating in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
• Completed Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• SAIPA registration.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all financial matters.
• Understanding clients’ financial goals and objectives and providing tailored financial solutions and advice.
• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyse financial information, including income, expenses, and investments.
• Day-to-day accounting tasks for a portfolio of clients.
• Compile Monthly/Weekly financial reports (management accounts) to your portfolio of clients.
• Ensure your clients are compliant with SARS and CIPC.

Requirements:
• BCom Degree in Accounting/Financial Management.
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles.
• Must be eligible to register with recognised board, being – CIMA, SAIPS, and/or SAICA.
• Must know Xero Software.

• Compile Monthly/Weekly financial reports (management accounts) to your portfolio of clients.
• Ensure your clients are compliant with SARS and CIPC.
• Manage a team of trainee accountant/s.

Requirements:
• BCom Degree in Accounting/Financial Management.
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles.
• Must be registered with a recognised board, being – CIMA, SAIPA, and/or SAICA.
• Minimum two years post-article experience within a practice.
• Must know Xero Software.
